One of the things I wish I had more confidence to do is use flash in my street photography. The sense of drama in Dicorcia’s image is so palpable, and that is almost entirely down to his use of flash. One of the things that I most wish that I could afford to have for my photography is a huge collection of lighting options. Nothing gives a photo that cinematic look more than a dramatic use of light.
