Comparison 12

I took this photo for a client visiting New York, and something about it really makes me think of this image by Lorca Dicorcia.  I know that the subject matter of Dicorcia’s photo gives a totally different spin to the image, but when taken solely for the image itself I get a sense of freedom from it.  I tried to mimic a similar layout to his photo, and to capture that sense of freedom and awe that I get from Dicorcia’s image.
